Valve is looking for Helpdesk technicians who enjoy working closely with customers and have strong problem solving skills. This role supports all Valve employees, enabling them to ship new and exciting products. Candidates should be excited about learning new technologies and be willing to ask questions.

  • Triage helpdesk tickets.
  • Work directly with users to resolve issues.
  • Document resolutions to tickets.
  • Keep inventory of hardware and peripherals. This includes recommending and testing cool new hardware.
  • Maintain shared office resources: Printers, Conference Rooms, Play Test and Virtual Reality areas.
  • Deploy PC's for new hires.
  • 2 years of experience with customer facing IT/Helpdesk
  • Troubleshooting Windows 7/8/10 (Linux or MacOS is a bonus)
  • Active Directory user management
  • Building Custom Desktop Gaming Computers
  • Network Troubleshooting
