We're looking for a highly experienced, versatile, and hardworking Tax & Accounting Professional to work collaboratively within our finance team, addressing the technical research and planning for global tax issues, preparation of tax filings, gathering information for tax advisors, and managing sales tax audits including the gathering and reconciliation of detailed transactional information. This role will additionally involve traditional tax and accounting functions consisting of a subset of the following tasks:
- • Address tax-related customer/developer support tickets
- • Cross training on global tax issues (e.g., US/International income taxes, VAT/GST/JCT, withholding tax, import tax, property tax, etc.)
- • Preparation/posting of journal entries
- • Completion of various monthly reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
- • Small book of business outside of direct tax duties, for example:
- • Assist with hardware cost accounting, inventory tracking, and related reconciliations, etc.
- • Assist with outbound royalty payments, partner support for onboarding, payment / tax issues, etc.
- • Continue to streamline processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- • General assistance in planning for department as needed / tasks evolve
- • Project work as time allows (e.g., process improvements, etc.)

Requirements
- • Degree in Accounting
- • Public accounting experience a plus, not required
- • CPA preferred
- • + 5 years experience in tax/finance functions
- • at least two years with tax auditing experience
- • Intermediate skills in Excel, accounting software, and online banking systems
- • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- • Ability to identify issues, research, and escalate when necessary
- • Ability to see “forest” in addition to the “trees”
- • Flexibility, passion, and drive in making functions/processes better
- • Curiosity and willingness to take on new tasks/projects
- • Self-starter, ability to work independently (ability to manage own time and tasks without oversight) and be collaborative in working with others (focus on succeeding as a team / company, not an individual)
